The Lush music and sensual dancing of Brazil meet the height energy of MTV in the dynamic performance of Christiane Callil and her gorgeous Girls From Ipanema.
The spectacular show combines vigorous sambas, feathered and sequenced costumes and a pacing that keeps the The Girls from Ipanema pose as they complete their grand finale at The House of Blues in Los Angeles rhythms pounding and the dancers moving. And, beneath the vibrant colors, sound and movements, the show ifs further enlivened by the rich, passionate emotions which are the heartbeat of Brazilian culture.
The show consists of seven dancers and one singer. A typical show runs for about 40 minutes. Twelve original songs are fully choreographed for each show. Costumes are designed specially for each show, showcasing over 50 unique Brazilian samba styles. People behind the scenes include audio, lighting, and wardrobe specialists.
Depending on your budget, the Girls can organize a 6 piece band playing live coordinated with 12 to 16 dancers, depending on budget restrictions. We also offer samba drummers as seen at the Grammy's with Ricky Martin, along with girls on stilts and carnival costumes which typically take over 3 hours to put on.
For smaller budgets, we offer 2 dancers complete with music. No matter the budget, we ensure that each time we perform is a professional and accurate representation of Brazilian culture. If you are looking for other types of dancers/music, we can help with anything from salsa to R & B.
